My New Job and Why I have to go an extra semester at UMaine

I made it through my first week of my new job! (Hoorayyyy!) I love it SOOOO much more than the Patient Care Coordinator job I had for the past year...SO much better. I am actually appreciated at my new job! Which is amazing, I'm not just treated like the "hired help". The first week was easy because the Lawyer I work for now, wasn't in the office, so there was no commotion going on. Monday will be a whole different story because he will have to go to court and we will have mediation hearings and will signings, it will be kind of a clusterfuck, but I am excited nonetheless.
Classes start in a little over a week....Senior year + 1 semester!....its a conspiracy, Ill tell you why...last semester I was supposed to take a class which I have to take before I can take 3 other classes, it is a pre-requisite...but I was not able to get into the class because it was full, so I went to two or three of the classes just in case anyone dropped I was going to take up that seat in a heartbeat...well nobody dropped and the professor would not let another person take the class above the limit of students...so I sucked it up and I said, ok well Ill just have to take this class next semester...so when it came time to choose my classes for this semester coming I met with my advisor and he asked me why I didn't take this certain class, and I said it was full and then nobody dropped so I want to take it this semester....well. To my surprise, the class is ONLY offered in the spring of each year...meaning, this prerequisite class that I need to take so I can take my last 3 classes for my major will ONLY be offered in the spring of 2013 which is when I am supposed to graduate...therefore not allowing me to graduate on time...therefore I will be graduating in December of 2013...HOW AWFUL IS THAT!? It really is a conspiracy! There are so many people I know who are staying for an extra semester and even an extra year because of the schools scheduling of classes...grrr! it makes really really ugly talking about it...I just want to be done with college, have that piece of paper that says I went to college for 4.5 years (when technically its a 4 year program, HA, bullshit). College is just looking to suck more money out of us by not offering classes students need...Not only that, but students have to work to be able to afford college, most of my classes are only offered at 1 certain time in the semester, I cant choose from a list of the same courses that are just offered at different time or day, its either I take this class and not work, OR dont take the class at all and fall even further behind....what the hell!
That was my rant...I need to go cool off now...haha maybe go for a swim...
