Well! Its recruitment week! :D I am very excited to get more gorgeous sisters added to Phi Mu :)

Met a few potential new members :) I can't wait to get to know them better. I think I already found a rush crush! haha oh well! I usually have a few each year so I'm bound to get one!

Why People on Facebook Have Been Pissing Me Off

      For about the past month of so I have been getting an absurd amount of friend requests on Facebook, none from anyone that I know, have known, or even that I have ever met. Some from the same state as me, some from across the country, and some from even other countries who somehow came across my profile and decided to send me a friend request. 1 was from California...I don't know ANYONE in California. One of them, in their about me; all it says is "where the single girls at?"...Here's the problem with this...you're looking for a relationship on FACEBOOK....How desperate are you? In his "profession" it states hes a model....while I may believe this cause he looked like one, he also looked like he was 12....I'm 22....get back to me when you live in my state and look like you're 25-27...maybe then ill be interested....As if that weren't bad enough, I send him a message asking "do I know you?" Maybe I just forgot who he was, maybe I met him somewhere who knows, so I message him asking how I know him, and he never answered...WHAT IS THE POINT OF ADDING SOMEONE ON FACEBOOK IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO ANSWER THEIR MESSAGES?! this is not a popularity contest people!!! GET OVER YOURSELVES!
     Another one was from Indiana, he was a legit person unlike the underage looking model in the first paragraph. In his about me he said that he used to live in Cali and used to model (what the hell is with all the models???) however he moved back to his home state after finding a brain tumor...while I can empathize with your situation and I am VERY sorry to hear that you have a brain tumor, you ALSO state you are looking for a girl who can see past you having cancer and are looking for a relationship...why are people looking for a relationship on Facebook?? I don't live in Indiana either, get back to me when you're living in Maine, even if you have cancer, you're still cute....So, once again, maybe I forgot how I met this guy, if I ever met him, and I message him the same thing as the other guy..."do I know you?"....no answer...HELLO!? Do people just go around adding random people on Facebook that they may be interested in having a long distance relationship with? I feel like that's really sketchy...
     While having people from your own country add you on Facebook even though you never met them before is creepy, when people from OTHER countries do it is REALLY weird...When I used to work for Dr. Largey they had their own Facebook page and so since I worked there I decided I would like their Facebook page and they wanted us to post dental information in it on a daily basis...I didn't do it on a daily basis, but I did do it on occasion...last week this guy from India sends me a friend request...I'm like...wtf? I have A. Never been to India and B. Never been anywhere other than the Caribbean...So again, I message him asking how I knew him...FINALLY he replied and said that he was a fan of my page and that I was the most gorgeous doctor he has ever seen and would be honored if I would send him information about Oral Surgery Schools in the US...Yeah. I'm not the doctor...I was just his bitch...so I told him that and he was still trying to get me to tell him about schools in the US for Oral Surgery. (PS. this was after the people that work there screwed me over by revoking my paid vacation) So out of spite I decided to give him the office phone number, both of their names and their E-Mails so maybe he can bombard them with calls and E-Mails...So what is the lesson in THIS scenario? Don't screw me over by taking away my hard earned money, I could make your life miserable.
     The next one was a girl who goes to college in the same area as me however she goes to a different college...I got a friend request from her and said we had 1 mutual friend...we didn't have any mutual friends...So I waited a few days, maybe I would finally remember how I knew this girl....come to find out, she is dating my ex-boyfriend of a year...what good can come of adding your boyfriends ex on Facebook? I cant think of any good...So, I messaged her and asked her how we knew each other...once again never got a reply...
     WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!? Common courtesy, just message me back you idiots! And if we have never met than what is the point of trying to add me to be a Facebook friend when we aren't even friends in real life....that shit makes me bat-shit crazy.

That felt good to rant about that. I got to go make dinner with some sorority sisters now...I feel better.
